We hire new graduate DVMs to locations that have the bandwidth for one-on-one mentorship. You start with hour-long appointments, a 12-month base salary guarantee, and customized mentorship.
Our externship program is tailored to your experience level to help you grow and expand the skill you feel are limiting your ability to be a strong veterinarian. We're here guide and mentor you!
Company History
In 1999 founder Chip Cannon, DVM, opened the first City Veterinary Center now known as CityVet in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas, Texas. The goal was to create a great pet care experience for clients by offering the best possible combination of quality care, convenience, and service with a focus to be affordable and available to clients.
Chip believed his CityVet concept would produce the strongest client connection and deliver the best care available. And, it must have worked. With more than 20 years in business, CityVet has grown from one practice to more than 20 clinics in Dallas, TX, San Antonio, TX, and Denver, CO that now include both branded and non-branded locations.
