We are hiring! Severson & Werson is looking for 2nd through 6th year associates, preferably with financial services litigation experience, to join our Financial Services team. Experience with drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, propounding and responding to written discovery, and conducting mediations in both state and federal courts. Familiarity with (R)FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, UCC, EFTA, TILA, and UDAP helpful.

Candidates must have a strong work ethic, excellent academic credentials and strong organizational, research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills. Candidates must be able to prioritize and handle urgent tasks and requests simultaneously with a high level of competence and accuracy. All applicants must be admitted to the California Bar.

The salary range for this California-based role is $145,000 to $165,000, and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s years of experience, qualifications, skill set, and location.  This position is hybrid and will be based out of our San Francisco or Irvine office locations.
