Description
The Law Office of Christopher J Gillette, a Bozeman Montana law firm, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our litigation team.
Our firm focuses exclusively on complex family law including child custody litigation, Hague Convention proceedings, high asset divorce, adoption, and post-decree matters. Associate Attorneys are encouraged to develop their own complimentary areas of practice in accordance with their interests and law firm needs.
An Associate Attorney will be responsible for:
Conducting thorough factual investigation and legal research necessary to develop litigation strategies, including development of dispositive motions.
Drafting legal documents with precision and clarity.
Representing clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations as required.
Staying updated on changes in laws and regulations pertaining to areas of practice.
Collaborating with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide support in complex legal matters.
Maintaining organized case files and documentation to ensure compliance with legal standards.
Maintaining compliance with the firm's billable hour expectation of 1850 hours per year.
Taking actions to recruit and retain cases appropriate for the firm and contribute to the growth of the practice group.
Requirement: Applicants must have a Montana Bar License or the ability to obtain one.
Compensation for this position is competitive and varies based upon experience and productivity. The Law Office of Christopher J Gillette offers a comprehensive benefits package.
